1 Scope
This standard specifies the design, construction, operation management of cold store and safety requirements for long-time shutdown of refrigerating system.
This standard is applicable to cold store with direct system of refrigeration and indirect system of refrigeration with ammonia and halohydrocarbon as refrigerant. The cold store and refrigerating system of other types may refer it.
This standard is not applicable to indoor assembly cold store for sale as product.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Cold store
Buildings (structures) for goods storage and supporting facilities under manual refrigeration condition.
Note: it includes storehouse, machinery room and power transformation and distribution room etc.
3.2
Assembly cold store
Cold store with light composite insulation plate as enclosing structure.
3.3
Storehouse
The entity of cold store building groups, including cold machining room, cold storage room and building providing direct service (like staircase, elevator room and hall way etc.).
