This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB 28377-2012 Minimum allowable values of water efficiency and water efficiency grades for urinals and the following main technical changes have been made with respect to GB 28377-2012: ——the scope of standard is modified; ——some terms and definitions are modified; ——the basic requirements are modified; —— the flushing function requirements are added; ——the index of water efficiency grade for urinals is modified; ——the equation for calculating the average water consumption of urinals is added. This standard was proposed by the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China and the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China. This standard was firstly issued in April, 2012 and is revised for the first time. Minimum allowable values of water efficiency and water efficiency grades for urinals 1 Scope This standard specifies the water efficiency grades, technical requirements and test methods for urinals. This standard is applicable to the evaluation on water efficiency of urinals (excluding waterless urinals) installed on cold water supply piping in building facilities and used under the static water supply pressure of 0.6 MPa. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.
