1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions as well as the forms, basic requirements, labeling contents and requirements of general labeling for oral care and cleansing products.
This standard is applicable to oral care and cleansing products marketed within the territory of the People's Republic of China.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

oral care and cleansing products
daily-use chemical industrial products applied on people's teeth or oral mucosa by brushing, gargling, inunction, spraying, sticking or other similar methods for cleansing, reducing objectionable odor, modifying and maintaining them in good condition, those specified hereof include toothpaste, oral rinses, dentifrice and oral gel, with the definitions of specific products referring to relevant product standards

packaging which is delivered to the consumers together with the contents as a whole

labeling
