1 Scope This standard specifies minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluating values of energy conservation, energy efficiency grades, test methods and inspection rules of heat pump water heaters. This standard is applicable to water heaters which are motor-driven, adopt air as heat source and vapor compression refrigeration cycle for the purpose of providing hot water.
