1 Scope
This part of GB 7956 specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of foam fire fighting vehicle.
This part is applicable to foam fire fighting vehicle.
This part is not applicable to compressed air foam system fire fighting vehicle and high-expansion foam fire fighting vehicle.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 6245 and GB 7956.1 and the following apply. For the convenience of application, some terms and definitions given in GB 7956.1-2014 are listed below.
3.1
foam fire fighting vehicle
fire fighting vehicle mainly equipped with fire vehicle pump, water tank, concentrated tank and water-foam concentrate mixing equipment

3.2
foam proportioner
a device supplying foam concentrate by negative pressure or positive pressure and mixing it with water according to certain proportion.
3.3
foam system
a system sufficiently mixing the foam concentrate, water and air to generate foam and carry out fire extinguishing, which consists of foam proportioner, foam generating or injection device, special components (e.g. concentrated tank and foam concentrate pump), pipeline and etc. installed on the fire fighting vehicle.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Basic requirements
Foam fire fighting vehicle (hereinafter referred to as "foam vehicle") shall comply with the general technical requirements in GB 7956.1-2014 and the requirements of this part.
