Corresponding enforcement regulations may be formulated during the implementation process according to the principles and requirements of this standard.
This standard is applicable to the ground-surface or underground shallow burying disposal with protective cover and with or without project barrier of all the low-and intermediate-level radioactive solid wastes ("waste" for short). This standard does not cover the disposal of wastes in natural or manual caves.
