GB/T 10151-2008 Medical diagnostic X-ray equipment - Specifications for high voltage cable plugs and sockets
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms, composition, requirements, and test methods for high voltage cable plugs and sockets for medical diagnostic X-ray equipment (hereinafter referred to as plugs and sockets).
This standard is applicable to three-core and four-core (dual focus with grid control) plugs and sockets used in medical diagnostic X-ray equipment. The rating voltage of the plugs and sockets is 75 kV.
2 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
2.1
plug
component assembled with a high voltage cable and used for connection to a high voltage generator and an X-ray tube assembly
2.2
socket
component mounted on a high voltage generator or an X-ray tube assembly and used for high voltage connection
2.3
rating voltage
voltage of a plug or socket specified by the manufacturer, which serves as the basis for the dielectric strength test
3 Composition
The plug and socket consist of the following main parts.
3.1 Plug
The plug shall consist of at least the following parts:
a) Fastener;
b) Plug body;
c) Pins.
3.2 Socket
The socket shall consist of at least the following parts:
a) Flange seat;
b) Compression threaded ring;
c) Socket body with jack terminals.
Note: The flange seat may form part of the high voltage generator, the X-ray tube assembly or other components of the equipment.
4 Requirements
4.1 Basic dimensions, types, markings and connections of plugs and sockets
4.1.1 Basic dimensions and types of plugs and sockets
As specified in Figures 1–6.
