1 Scope
This Standard specifies the test methods for bond strength of leather shoes heels and heel parts/outsoles.
This Standard is applicable to the leather shoes with bonding and nailing of the heel and heel part or outsole.
This Standard is not applicable to the leather shoes integrating the heel and outsole as a whole.

3 Principle
The finished leather shoe is loaded into special fixture, then the heel is stretched off the shoe hell and heel part/outsole at certain speed on the tensile testing machine and the required force is the bond strength of the heel.
