本标准代替GB/T 11763-1989《棉籽》。
本标准规定了棉籽的相关术语和定义、质量要求和卫生要求、检验方法、检验规则、标签、标识以及
包装、储存和运输要求。
本标准适用于籽棉经加工脱绒后供制油的商品棉籽。
本标准与GB/T 11763-1989《棉籽》的主要技术差异如下：
——增加了有关棉籽标准的术语和定义；
——明确了卫生指标、植物检疫项目的国家规定；
——增加了标签标识；
——规范了包装、储存和运输应遵循的相关标准。
