本标准规定了用于校准防护水平剂量仪和剂量率仪(空气比释动能率从lOμGy·h-1～lOGy·h-1)及确定其能量响应特性的X和γ参考辐射的特性和产生方法。参考辐射分为四组。每组对应于一个特定光子能量范围，它们的产生方法分4章描述并在其中规定了这些辐射的特性。这4组参考辐射是:a)约7keV～25OkeV能量范围的连续谱过滤X辐射和241Am的γ辐射。B)8keV～lOOkeV能量范围的荧光X辐射。C)60OkeV～1.3MeV能量范围的放射性核素γ辐射。D)4MeV～9MeV能量范围的反应堆和加速器产生的γ辐射。应从表1中选用这些参考辐射。
