The previous editions of this document are as follows: ——It was first issued as GB/T 13861-1992 in 1992, and first revised in 2009; ——This edition is the second revision.   Classification and code for the hazardous and harmful factors in process 1 Scope This document gives the classification principle, code structure, and classification and code for main hazardous and harmful factors in process. This document is applicable to the prediction and prevention of hazardous and harmful factors in the whole process of production and operating activities, and the identification and analysis of the causes of casualty accidents. It is also applicable to the processing and exchange of occupational safety and health information. 2 Normative references No normative reference is listed in this document. 3 Terms and definitions For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 process the whole process of production activities which the workers are engaged in in the production field 3.2 hazardous and harmful factors factors that may cause casualties, affect people's physical health, and even lead to diseases 3.3 personal factors hazardous and harmful factors in production activities, which may be caused by the personnel themselves or of man-made nature 3.4 material factors hazardous and harmful factors existing in the machinery, equipment, facilities and materials   3.5 environment factors hazardous and harmful factors existing in the production and operation environment 3.6 management factors hazardous and harmful factors resulting from the lack of management and management responsibilities 4 Classification principle and code structure In this document, the hazardous and harmful factors in process are classified by their nature. The hazardous and harmful factors in process are divided into four categories, namely "human factors", "material factors", "environment factors" and "management factors". The code in this document is hierarchical, which is represented by 6 digits divided into four levels. The first and second levels represent the major and sub-major categories with one digit, respectively; and the third and fourth levels represent minor and unit categories with two digits, respectively. The code structure is illustrated in Figure 1. Figure 1 Code structure 5 Classification and code See Table 1 for the classification and code for the hazardous and harmful factors in process.
