本标准规定了燃气轮机动力装置的验收试验方法，以确定或检验燃气轮机动力装置的功率、热效率等主要性能参数及其它性能。本标准适用于常规燃烧系统的开式循环燃气轮机的动力装置，也适用于闭式循环和半闭式循环燃气轮机动力装置。经过适当的修改也可适用于其它热源的燃气轮机动力装置。本标准不适用于航空燃气轮机和正在研制中的燃气轮机。
