4 Sampling and Sample Preparation
4.1 Sampling
According to the provisions of GB/T 1427 or corresponding product standards, or through negotiation between the supply and demand parties.
4.2 Sample Preparation
4.2. 1. Paste type
First, crush all the samples taken to less than 4 mm, mix well, and then use the quartering method to reduce them to about 60 g, and then crush all the reduced samples to less than 0 5 mm , Used for testing internal moisture, ash content, and volatile matter.
4.2.2 Mud type
First, place the sample taken in a 200 ℃ drying oven to solidify, then crush all the solidified samples to less than 4 mm, mix well, and use a quartering method to reduce them to about 60 g, and then crush all the reduced samples to 0 Below 15mm, used for ash and volatile matter testing.
4.2.3 Block type
4.2.3. 1. Prepare no less than 100g small sample blocks or particles through sawing, turning, milling, drilling, fracturing and other methods for internal moisture testing.
4.2.3.2 Ash content greater than or equal to 0 1% of the sample is first processed by sawing, turning, milling, drilling, fracturing and other methods to obtain no less than 100g small sample blocks or particles, and then all are crushed to less than 0 15 mm , Used for ash and volatile matter testing.
4.2.3.3 Ash content less than 0 1% of the samples are first processed into test blocks of a certain size through sawing, turning, milling, and other methods, and then cleaned
Scrape off the surface with a knife, blow off the adhered dust, and use it for ash testing.
4.2.4 Particle type
4.2.4. Ash content greater than or equal to 0 Mix 1% of the sample and use the quartering method to reduce it to no less than 100 g, then grind all the reduced samples to less than 0 15 mm , Used for testing internal moisture, ash content, and volatile matter.
4.2.4.2 Ash content less than 0 1% of the sample is directly used for internal moisture and ash content testing after sampling.
4.2.5 Powder type
After mixing, the sample is directly used for testing.
4.2.6 Soft materials such as graphite paper and graphite felt
Cut the sample into fragments for internal moisture and ash content testing; Take no less than 20 g of fragmented samples and crush them all to less than 0 5 mm , Used for volatile matter testing.
4.2.7 Precautions
4.2.7. The sample that needs to be tested for internal moisture should be tested immediately after sample preparation. If it cannot be measured immediately, the sample should be stored in a ground bottle immediately.
4.2.7.2 After preparing the ash content and volatile matter test samples, place them in a drying oven and dry at 110 ℃± 5 ℃ for 2 hours ± 10 minutes. Take them out and cool them to room temperature in a dryer for testing.
During the preparation process, effective measures such as cleaning the mortar and workbench should be taken to minimize sample contamination.
5 Determination of internal moisture content
5.1 Principle
Weigh a certain mass of air dried base sample, place it in a pre blown drying oven, and dry it at a certain temperature until the mass is constant. The percentage of the lost mass of the sample to the initial sample mass is taken as the intrinsic moisture content of the sample.
5.2 Reagents and Materials
5.2. 1. Color changing silicone: industrial product.
5.2.2 Anhydrous calcium chloride: chemically pure, granular.
5.3 Instruments and equipment
5.3. 1. Drying oven: equipped with automatic temperature control and blowing device, and able to maintain the temperature within the range of 110 ℃± 5 ℃.
5.3.2 Analytical balance: division value 0000 1 g。
5.3.3 Drying machine: filled with color changing silica gel or granular anhydrous calcium chloride.
5.3.4 Glass weighing bottle: The size shall not be less than ϕ 60 mm × 25 mm.
5.3.5 Porcelain dish: The volume shall not be less than 60 mL.
5.4 Test steps
5.4. Place the glass weighing bottle (porcelain dish) in a drying oven that has been pre heated to 110 ℃± 5 ℃ by air blowing, dry for 1-2 hours, take it out and immediately place it in a dryer. After cooling to room temperature (about 1 hour), weigh it immediately to the nearest 0 000 1 g, Note as m0.
