1 Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, test categories and implementation conditions, static tests and dynamic tests for urban rail transit vehicles after assembly and before being put into service.
This document applies to urban rail transit vehicles with a maximum operating speed not greater than 160 km/h, powered by external electrical energy.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 vehicle manufacturer
The organisation responsible for providing the technical specifications of the vehicle system and for the manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of the vehicle.
3.2 vehicle manufacturer‘s works
The place where vehicle manufacturing, assembly and some static and dynamic tests are completed.
3.3 user
The organisation that orders the vehicle and is responsible for direct negotiation with the vehicle manufacturer.
3.4 supplier
The organisation responsible for providing individual equipment or complete sets of equipment.
3.5 supplier’s works
The place where individual equipment or complete sets of equipment are manufactured.
3.6 vehicle
A single vehicle that can be coupled to form a train for operation on an urban rail transit line.
3.7 train
A combination of several vehicles coupled together to form a train for passengercarrying operation.
3.8 coefficient of flexibility
When a vehicle is stationary on a track with cant, the ratio of the angle between the centre line of the vehicle crosssection and the centre line of the track crosssection perpendicular to the rail top plane to the track cant angle.
4 General Requirements
4.1 General
4.1.1 The vehicle manufacturer‘s process activities for vehicle inspection and testing shall include test programme, test specifications, process standards, test records, calibration of test instruments and equipment, document control, nonconforming product control and personnel training, and shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 19001.
4.1.2 All equipment or systems integrated into the vehicle shall be subject to corresponding inspection and testing. If the vehicle is not equipped with the equipment or functions covered in this document, the corresponding inspection and testing need not be carried out.
4.1.3 The relevant aspects of reliability, availability, maintainability and safety shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 21562.
4.2 Test Programme
4.2.1 Before inspection and testing, a test programme shall be prepared and reviewed.

1 Scope

4 General Requirements
4.1 General
