本标准规定了铂、钯合金中铱量的测定。 本部分代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．６—１９９４《贵金属及其合金化学分析方法　钯、铱合金中铱量的测定》。
本部分与ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．６—１９９４相比，主要有如下变动：
———标准名称由ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．６—１９９４《贵金属及其合金化学分析方法　钯、铱合金中铱量的测
定》变更为《贵金属合金化学分析方法　铂、钯合金中铱量的测定　硫酸亚铁电流滴定法》；
———按新标准编写的要求对溶液的配制、浓度的表示等进行了修订；
———将原标准的范围ＰｔＩｒ１０、ＰｔＩｒ１７．５、ＰｔＩｒ２５、ＰｄＩｒ１０、ＰｄＩｒ１８ 修改为本标准适用于ＰｔＩｒ、ＰｄＩｒ、ＰｔＩｒＲｕ合金中铱含量的测定；
