本部分与ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．７—１９９４、ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．１９—１９９４和ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．１８—１９９４相比，主要有如下变动：
———将原来的三个标准合并修订为一个标准，即由ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．７—１９９４ 和ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．１９—１９９４的《贵金属及其合金化学分析方法　金合金中铬量的测定》和ＧＢ／Ｔ１５０７２．１８—１９９４的《贵金属及其合金化学分析方法　金合金中铁量的测定》合并修订为《贵金属合金化学分析方法　金合金中铬和铁量的测定　电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法》；
———采用电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法代替原标准使用的库仑法、硫酸亚铁滴定法和分光光度法；
———将方法的适用范围由原标准的ＡｕＮｉＣｒ５-１、ＡｕＮｉＣｒ５-２、ＡｕＮｉＦｅＺｒ９-２-０．３、ＡｕＮｉＦｅＺｒ５-１．５-０．３合金扩展到ＡｕＮｉＣｒ、ＡｕＦｅＣｒ和ＡｕＮｉＦｅＺｒ系列合金，其中ＡｕＦｅＣｒ为新增系列；
