This Standard specifies product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cast iron and copper alloy ball valves. This Standard is applicable to grey cast iron ball valves (Nominal Pressure PN ≤1.6MPa), nodular cast iron ball valves (PN ≤4.0MPa), malleable cast iron ball valves (PN ≤2.5MPa) and copper alloy ball valves (PN ≤2.5MPa), which are connected via flange and female screw threads and whose nominal diameters are DN 8~300mm.
