本标准的特定要求适用于数据处理设备在下述情况下与建筑物电源装置的连接：--数据处理设备经由符合IEC60083的或类似标准的插头和插座与建筑物电源装置相连接，它的对地泄漏电流超过GB4943(idtIEC6095:1991)规定的限值;--数据处理设备符合GB4943(idtIEC60950(代替435):1986)的要求(包括泄露电流)。本标准的要求适用于直到与数据处理设备连接那点为止的那部分电气装置，见图A1。本标准也可用于数据处理设备以外的设备，例如工业控制设备和通信设备的电气装置。安装那些设备由于要求抑制射频干扰的滤波设备，而具有大的泄漏电流。
