GB/T17215的本部分规定了最新制造的室内使用并具有工作储备的时间开关的型式试验特殊要求。时间开关常用于电力负载控制、多费率寄读器和电能计量设备的最大需量装置。
时间开关保持实时,它可以保存日期,还能够处理闰年,它还支持夏令时,也就是说,根据相关规则,它能修改当地时间和GMT 的偏差。时间开关还具有同步功能,时间开关也保存开关动作程序表,该表可以对时间周期、星期几、年或月的日期进行规定。时间开关根据时间和储存的程序表来控制输出单元。
本部分对时间开关的内部结构不做要求。
