3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2900.65-2023 as well as the following apply.
3.1
self-ballasted lamp
a lamp containing a lamp cap, a light source and the components necessary to start the light source and maintain a stable ignition point is not removable without damaging its structure
3.2
displacement factor
the cosine of the phase angle between the fundamental wave of the supply voltage and the fundamental wave of the supply current, expressed by cos ϕ 1
Note: See Annex F of GB/T 24823-× × × × for the explanation of displacement coefficient.
3.3
type
lamps with the same photometric and electrical characteristics regardless of the influence of the lamp head
3.4
rated value, < light sources and related equipment >
the quantity used for specification purposes, which is expressly indicated by the manufacturer or responsible seller and determined under standard test conditions
Note 1: In order to indicate the "rating" of a particular quantity, the term "value" is replaced by the name of the quantity; For example, rated power, rated voltage, rated current and rated temperature.
Note 2: Standard test conditions are given in the relevant standards.
3.5
starting time
at the specified temperature of the lamp, turn on the power until the lamp is fully started and maintains the ignition point
3.6
run-up time
the time required for the light output to reach 60% of its stable light output after the lamp is turned on
3.7
stabilization time
the time required after the lamp is turned on to the stabilization of the photoelectric characteristics of the lamp
3.8
lumens efficiency
the ratio of the luminous flux emitted by lamps (including cowled lamps and reflector lamps) to the power consumed
Note: The unit is lumens per watt (lm/W).
3.9
beam angle
at the angle between two given straight lines on the plane passing through the axis of the beam, the two given straight lines pass through the front center of the lamp and the luminous point whose luminous intensity is 50% of the central light intensity respectively
3.10
lumen maintenance
ignition point under specified conditions, the ratio of the luminous flux of the lamp to the initial luminous flux of the lamp at a specific time during its life
Note: Expressed as percentage.
3.11
failure
the phenomenon that the lamp can't ignite normally or continuously, or its light flux maintenance rate is lower than a specified value
3.12
early failure
the failure of the lamp before the ignition point reaches the specified time
