ＧＢ／Ｔ１７４５４《机械安全　压敏保护装置》分为三部分，本部分是ＧＢ／Ｔ１７４５４的第１部分。本部分规定了用作保护人员免受机械伤害的安全装置——通常有脚致动的压敏垫和压敏地板的要求。本部分给出了压敏垫和压敏地板的最低安全要求、标识和文件。本部分适用于应用各种能量形式的压敏垫和压敏地板。 本部分代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１７４５４．１—１９９８《机械安全　压敏防护装置　第１部分：压敏垫和压敏地板设计
和试验通则》。与ＧＢ／Ｔ１７４５４．１—１９９８相比，主要内容修改如下：
———感测范围由体重大于１５ｋｇ改为２０ｋｇ；
———增加“传感器、控制器、控制单元、输出信号开关装置、致动力、复位、输出信号开关装置接通状态、输出信号开关装置断开状态、响应时间”的术语和定义；
———试件１、２、３改为用于感测体重大于３５ｋｇ的压敏垫和压敏地板，取消试件７；
———增加规范性附录Ａ。
