This standard is developed mainly based on GB/T 8729-1988 Foundry coke and the China Coal Industry Encyclopedia, with full consideration taken of the resource characteristics and mining & dressing status of coking coal in China, as well as production practice, experience, and new processes developed in recent years regarding coal coking. This standard was proposed by State Bureau of Coal Industry. This Standard is under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee on Coal Standardization Administration of China. The standard is interpreted by Beijing Coal Chemical Branch, China Coal Research Institute Technical condition of coal for foundry coke 1 Scope This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, determination, quality inspection and acceptance of foundry coke. This standard is applicable to foundry coke. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. At the time of publication, all the editions listed are valid. All standards are subject to revision, and all parties to agreements based on this standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the normative documents indicated below.
