本标准规定了工业锅炉经济运行的基本要求、管理原则、技术指标与考核。
本标准适用于以煤、油、气为燃料、以水为介质的固定式钢制锅炉，包含GB/T1921所列额定蒸汽压力大于0.04MPa且额定蒸发量大于或等于1t/h的各种参数系列的蒸汽锅炉和GB/T3166所列额定出水压力大于0.1MPa且额定热功率大于或等于0.7MW的各种参数系列的热水锅炉。
本标准不适用于余热锅炉、电加热锅炉及有机热载体锅炉。
