1 Scope This part of GB/T 18477 specifies the materials, classification, pipe structure and connection, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation and storage of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) double wall corrugated pipes for underground soil waste and drainage which is mainly made of polyvinyl chloride resin and formed through extrusion (hereinafter referred to as "pipes"). This part is applicable to non-pressure pipes for municipal underground drainage, building outer drainage and farmland drainage as well as sleeves of communication cables. It is also applicable to non-pressure underground industrial drainage pipelines considering chemical resistance and temperature resistance of materials. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this part of GB/T 18477.
