本标准规定了实验室测量带有减振材料（覆于手掌部、手指和拇指）的手套的振动传递率的测量和评价方法，即对振动在1/3倍频程处、中心频率范围25Hz~1250Hz时，根据振动从手柄到手掌部位的传递进行手套振动传递率的实验室测量、数据分析及报告的方法。　　
本标准中规定的测量方法也可用于覆于机器手柄或可能用于手套中的减振材料的振动传递率的测量。但是，当覆于手柄的材料按本标准的测量结果满足本标准时，也不能用于判定就是防振覆盖。以此方式经测量的材料如被用于手套上，在此情况下，该手套必须按本标准中的测量步骤进行测量并满足本标准的减振性能要求，方能判定为防振手套。
