1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of cyclopentane for industrial use.
This document is applicable to cyclopentane obtained through hydrogenation and distillation of petroleum-based or coal-based C5 raw materials.
Note: The molecular formula of cyclopentane is C5H10, with the structural formula as , and a relative molecular mass of 70.13 (as per the international relative atomic mass in 2022).
