Criterion of digital map production for automotive navigation system 1 Scope This standard specifies the basic content and quality requirements of navigation electronic map, and defines road function class and color representation, background information style, diagrammatical symbol and address coding rules, etc. This standard is applicable to the definition and production of navigation electronic map in vehicle in China. Navigation electronic map in location-based services (LBS) and intelligent transportation system (ITS) may refer to this standard. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
