GB/T 21097.1-2007 General requirements on fixed number of years of safety use and recycling for household and similar electrical appliances (English Version)
1 Scope
This Part of GB/T 21097 specifies such contents as terms, definitions, technical requirements, and marking of recycling and safe service life of household and similar electrical appliances.
This Part is applicable to household and similar electrical appliances sold, applied and disposed in China.
Note 1: The requirements of this Part are applicable to products and manufacturers in remote sales and electronic distribution and unrelated to selling skills. The manufacturers and distributors in remote sales and electronic distribution channel shall adopt the same form or mode to execute this Part to avoid the distributors of other channels from undertaking the waste and used and recovery management expenses of products through remote sales or electronic distribution in this Part.
Note 2: This Part shall include household and similar electrical appliances used by all consumers and special-purpose electrical appliances possible to be the garbage in municipal utility industry.
