1 Scope This document specifies the test conditions, function performance status classification, etc. of electrical transient conducted emission and immunity of electrical/electronic components. This document is applicable to electrical/electronic components for vehicles of categories M, N, O and L. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. GB/T 29259 Road vehicle - Electromagnetic compatibility terminology GB/T 33014.1-2016 Road vehicles - Component test methods for electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 1: General (ISO 11452-1:2005, MOD) 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 29259 and the following apply. 3.1 capacitive coupling clamp; CCC special fixture that facilitates capacitive coupling of fast transient test pulses into signal lines under test without any galvanic connection to the terminals of the circuits, or any other part of the device under test (DUT) 3.2 degradation (of performance) undesired departure in the operational performance of any device, equipment or system from its intended performance Note: The term "degradation" may apply to temporary or permanent failure. 3.3 direct capacitive coupling; DCC method using discrete, non-polarized capacitor to couple fast and slow transient test pluses into the DUT's signal lines 3.4 electromagnetic susceptibility ability of any device, equipment or system failing to avoid degradation of performance in case of an electromagnetic disturbance Note: It has high sensitivity and low immunity. 3.5 inductive coupling clamp; ICC bulk current injection (BCI) type probe to provide the means of coupling slow transient test pulses into signal lines under test without any galvanic connection to the terminals of the circuits, or any other part of the DUT 4 General description of GB/T 21437 GB/T 21437 is concerned with the problem of electrical transient disturbances in road vehicles and also in trailers. It deals with the emission of transients, transient transmission through electrical wiring and the potential susceptibility of electronic components to electrical transients.
