本标准规定了YBZS系列起重用隔爆型双速三相异步电动机的型式、基本参数与尺寸、技术要求、检验规则与试验方法以及标志、包装及保用期的要求。本标准适用于各种起重机械电力传动用隔爆型双速三相异步电动机（以下简称电动机）。凡属本系列电动机所派生的各种电动机均可参照执行。本系列电动机防爆性能符合GB 3836.2-2000的规定，制成隔爆型。防爆标志为ExdⅠ、ExdⅡAT4、ExdⅡBT4、ExdⅡCT4。分别适用于煤矿井下设备及工厂ⅡA级、ⅡB级、ⅡC级，引燃温度为T1～T4组的可燃性气体或蒸汽与空气形成的爆炸性混合物的场所。
