This Part of GB/T 223 specifies the determination of tellurium content in iron, steel and alloy with direct oscillopolarographic method and the sulfhydryl cotton fiber separation - oscillopolarographic method.
Direct oscillopolarographic method of this Part is applicable to the determination of tellurium content with mass fraction in pure iron, raw cast iron and low alloy steel; the sulfhydryl cotton fiber separation - oscillopolarographic method is applicable to the determination of tellurium content with mass fraction of 0.00004%~0.001% in raw cast iron, high, medium and low alloy steel and high temperature alloy.
