Introduction of GB/T 24131-2009

本标准规定了测定生橡胶中水分和其他挥发性物质含量的两种方法:热辊法和烘箱法。
本标准适用于测定列入GB/T5576-1997中R组橡胶的挥发分含量。R组橡胶是指含有不饱和碳链的橡胶,例如天然橡胶和至少部分由二烯烃聚合的合成橡胶。
本标准也可能适用于测定其他类橡胶。在这种情况下,应验证质量的改变仅仅是由于原有的挥发性物质的损失而不是橡胶降解所致。
热辊法不适用于天然橡胶和合成异戊二烯橡胶或者在热辊上难以处理的橡胶,也不适用于片状或粉末状橡胶。
这两种方法不一定能得到相同的结果。因此,在有争议的情况下,宜使用烘箱法A。
