GB/T 24478-2023 Traction machine of electric lifts
1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport, and storage for traction machine of electric lifts with a rated speed of traction machine not greater than 10.0 m/s.
This document is applicable to traction machines of passenger lifts and goods lifts.
This document is not applicable to traction machines of service lifts, home lifts, and electric lifts with inclined path. However, it may serve as a reference.
This document is not applicable to traction machines of electric lifts using hydraulically operated brakes.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 755-2019, GB/T 2900.25, GB/T 7024, and the following apply.

rated speed of traction machine
linear speed on the pitch circle diameter of the traction sheave, as specified by design
3.2
rated torque of traction machine
output torque of the traction machine at rated power and rated speed
3.3
starts per hour
number of starts per hour permitted for the traction machine
3.4
short-circuit braking torque of permanent magnet synchronous motor
braking torque generated by the rotation of the motor after short-circuiting the stator winding
Note: This braking torque is related to the rotational speed.
3.5
release time of brake
time interval from power-off of the brake to the braking torque reaching its rated value
Note: This time includes the delay caused by devices (if any) integral to the brake, such as rectifier bridges, diodes, or capacitors.
3.6
maximum release voltage of brake electromagnet
critical voltage at which the electromagnetic force of the brake electromagnet can no longer maintain the attracted state
3.7
allowed radial load
maximum radial load allowed on the traction sheave
