1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificate as well as contract (or order) contents of aluminium and aluminium alloys drawn seamless tubes for large circumscribed circle diameter of cross section (hereinafter referred to as "tubes").
This standard is applicable to the tubes with circular section (as shown in Figure 1) with an outer diameter of 120mm to 220mm (hereinafter referred to as "circular tubes"), and tubes with square section (as shown in Figure 2, hereinafter referred to as "square tubes") or rectangular section (as shown in Figure 3, hereinafter referred to as "rectangular tubes") of 70mm × 50mm to 120mm × 120mm.
This standard is only applicable to the tubes produced by extrusion blooming method, and is not applicable to seam tubes and tubes used in conductive industries.

3 Requirements
3.1 Product classification
3.1.1 Designation, state and specification of products
The designation and supply state of products shall meet those specified in Table 1. The specification of circular tubes, rectangular tubes and square tubes shall meet those specified in Table 2, Table 3 and Table 4 respectively. The products of other designation, state and specification, if required by the purchaser, shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser and indicated in the contract (or order).
