本标准规定了电子天平的术语和定义、计量单位、基本参数、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于检定分度值不小于1mg电子天平(以下简称天平)的设计与制造。
本标准不适用于真空天平、热天平、遥控天平、自动天平和按协议制造的天平。
