Trousers
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage for the trousers and skirt suits, and describes the corresponding test method. This document applies to trousers and skirt suits mainly made of woven fabrics such as pure wool, wool blends and interwoven fabrics and wool-like fabrics.
This document is not applicable to clothing for infants aged 36 months and below.

4 Requirements
4.1 Instructions for use
The instructions for use of the product shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 5296.4, and products for children aged over 3 years and up to 14 years shall also comply with the requirements of GB 31701.
4.2 Size specifications
4.2.1 Size specification shall be set according to the requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts).
4.2.2 The main part dimensions shall be designed independently in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T 1335 (all parts) and GB/T 14304.
4.3 Raw materials
Shell and lining shall meet the relevant requirements of this standard. The linings, sewing threads and other accessories used shall be compatible with the shell; buttons, decorative buttons, zippers and other accessories shall be smooth on the surface, free from burrs, defects, flaws, and free from accessible sharp points and sharp edges. Zippers shall engage and operate smoothly.
4.4 Warp and weft yarn directions
The warp and weft yarn directions of the shell shall meet those specified in Table 1. Heavily milled, brushed, and napped products are not assessed for warp and weft yarn directions. Except for special design.

Front The warp yarns shall be aligned with reference to the crease line. The skewness below the crotch line shall not exceed 0.5, and for yarn‑dyed striped or checked fabrics, the skewness shall not exceed 0.2.
Back The warp yarns shall be aligned with reference to the crease line. The skewness below the knee line shall not exceed 1.0, and for yarn‑dyed striped or checked fabrics, the skewness shall not exceed 0.5.
4.5 Matching of stripes and plaids
4.5.1 The skewness of striped or plaid patterns shall not exceed 2 %, except for special design.
4.5.2 Fabrics with obvious stripes or plaids of 1.0 cm or more in width shall meet the requirements of Table 2, except for special design.

Side seam Plaids below the crotch line shall be horizontally aligned with a tolerance not exceeding 0.2.
Front and back crotch seam Stripes shall be aligned with stripes, and plaids shall be horizontally aligned. The tolerance shall not exceed 0.3

Pocket flap and bodice Stripes shall be aligned with stripes, and plaids with plaids, with a tolerance not exceeding 0.2.
4.5 Stripes and plaids with colour cycles shall be aligned according to the cycle.
4.5.4 For fabrics with directional pile/nap or directional stripes/plaids, the direction shall be consistent throughout the garment.
