1 Scope This Part of GB/T 28799 specifies the material, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyethylene pipe of raised temperature resistance (PE-RT) (hereinafter referred to as pipe). This Part is applicable to PE-RT Type I and PE-RT Type II pipe. This Part is used in conjunction with GB/T 28799.1 and GB/T 28799.3. It is applicable to the architectural piping systems for hot and cold water, covering hot and cold water, drinking water and heating system for civil and industrial building use.
