1 Scope This part of GB/T 29493 specifies the HPLC-MS/MS method for the determination of perfluorooctane sulfonates and perfluorooctanoicacid in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries. GB/T 6682-2008 Water for analytical laboratory use - Specification and test methods GB/T 8170-2008 Rules of rounding off for numerical values & expression and judgment of limiting values 3 Theory Adopt methanol solvent as sample; extract perfluorooctane sulfonates (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoicacid (PFOA) by ultrasonic wave; determine and confirm with HPLC-MS/MS instrument; quantify with external standard method. 4 Reagents and materials Unless otherwise stated, only approved analytical reagents shall be used. 4.1 Methanol (chromatographic grade). 4.2 Standard product of perfluorooctanesulfonic acid potassium salt (PFOS, CAS No.: 2795-39-3) with purity ≥95% (mass fraction). 4.3 Standard product of perfluorooctanoicacid (PFOA, CAS No.: 335-67-1) with purity ≥95% (mass fraction). 4.4 Standard stock solution of perfluorooctane sulfonates (200mg/L):
