GB/T 31128-2025 Testing and evaluation of the resistance to pile loop extraction for towel products
1 Scope
This document describes two test methods for and gives the evaluation indexes of the resistance to pile loop extraction for towel products.
This document is applicable to woven towel products, whose surface is covered with pile loops with a height ≥ 2.5 mm, and their products, and may serve as a reference for weft-knitted towels.
This document is applicable to twistless towel products.

maximum force required to extract a certain number or length of loops out of the towel tissue

4 Principle
A tensile strength tester with a yarn extraction device is used to determine the maximum force required to extract a certain number or length of loops from a towel tissue, and this force is used to evaluate the resistance to extraction of the sample.
