GB/T 5611 Foundry terminology 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5611 apply. 4 Overall objective of process design The overall objective of process design is to meet the quality requirements of castings, reduce manufacturing costs, improve productivity, and continuously improve the process, optimize the structure and improve the performance; on the basis of reducing the difficulty of casting process, reduce the consumption of raw and auxiliary materials and energy as much as possible; reduce the pollution to the ecological environment and the harm to personal safety and health in the production process.
