1 Scope This part of GB/T 32620 specifies model preparation, polarity marking, battery models and classification, battery terminal position, terminal dimension and designation of lead-acid batteries for electric road vehicles. This part is applicable to lead-acid battery (hereinafter referred to as battery) and accumulator battery used by the electric automobile, electric tricycle, golf cart, patrol minibus and electric motorcycle etc. with rated capacity above 32Ah (including 32Ah) and mainly powered by battery. This part is not applicable to the battery and accumulator battery used for such purposes as triggering, electric powering and traction. 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies. JB/T 2599 Lead-acid Battery - Model Preparation and Designation of Product 3 Model Preparation and Polarity Marking of Battery 3.1 Model preparation Model preparation of battery shall meet those specified in JB/T 2599, which is detailed as: product type is expressed in the first capital letter “EV” of Chinese character "electric vehicles". See Figure 1 for detail designation (enterprise may determine “other” feature markings according to the actual situation and user's requirements. In particular cases, the self-prepared model may also be added after the completion of model preparation specified in this part.).
