Test method of attrition resistance for water dispersible granules
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method of attrition resistance for pesticide water dispersible granules.
This standard is applicable to the test of attrition resistance for water dispersible granules.
2 Test methods
2.1 Method summary
Firstly, sieve the sample on a 125 μm standard sieve, place the sieved sample of known mass into a glass bottle, and place it on a rotating device. After rotating for a specified period of time, sieve the sample in the bottle on a 125 μm standard sieve again, and weigh the mass of the sample remaining on the sieve.
2.2 Apparatus
Rotating device with at least two rotating wheels (see Figure 1).
Small size sieve shaker: with tray diameter or side length not less than 20 cm, vortex vibration, moving distance of 4.5 mm, and frequency of 300 r/min to 500 r/min.
Test sieve: 125 μm, with lid and receiving tray.
Glass bottle: 500 mL, with lid; outer diameter: 8.0 cm, height: approximately 15 cm.
Watch glass.
Soft brush.
Glass rod with rubber head.
Stopwatch.
