Automatic rescue operation device for lifts 1 Scope This document specifies the technical requirements, automatic rescue power supply, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of automatic rescue operation device for lifts. This document is applicable to passenger lifts and goods lifts driven by traction with power operated doors, and may be serve as a reference for other lifts. This document is not applicable to rescue operations with human intervention. 2 Normative references The following documents, in whole or in part, are normatively referenced in this document and are indispensable for its application. The automatic rescue operation of lift shall not cause the failure of any electrical safety device of the lift. 4.1.2 In addition to the requirements of this document, relevant supplementary requirements shall also be met in special cases (such as use by persons with disabilities, in case of fire, potentially explosive atmosphere, extreme climate conditions or seismic conditions, etc.). 4.2 Service conditions 4.2.1 Altitude The altitude of installation site shall not exceed 1,000m. When the altitude exceeds 1,000m, the selection of low-voltage electrical appliances shall be revised according to the requirements of GB/T 20645; the selection of automatic rescue power supply shall be revised according to its type. 4.2.2 Ambient temperature The ambient temperature shall be maintained at 5~40℃. 4.2.3 Humidity The relative air humidity at the operating site shall not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of 40℃; a high relative humidity is allowed at a low temperature, but in the wettest month, the monthly average minimum temperature shall not exceed 25℃, and the monthly average maximum relative humidity shall not exceed 90%. If condensation may occur on the electrical equipment, corresponding prevention measures shall be taken.   4.2.4 Pollution degree The ambient air shall not contain corrosive and flammable gases, and the pollution degree shall not be higher than Grade 3 specified in GB/T 14048.1-2012, 6.1.3.2. 4.2.5 Working area The working area of the machine space where the automatic rescue operation device for lifts is located shall meet the following requirements: a) The net height of the working area shall not be less than 2.10m; a horizontal net area in front of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall be available, of which the depth shall not be less than 0.70m when measured from the outer surface of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, and the width shall be 0.50m or the full width of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, whichever is greater. b) Permanently installed electrical lighting shall be used in the working area to ensure that the ground illumination of the personnel working area shall not be less than 200lx. 4.2.6 Access and access door to working area 4.2.6.1 The access to the working area shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.2.2. 4.2.6.2 The access door outside the well shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.2.3; the warning signs shall be arranged according to the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.2.4. 4.3 Structure The structural design of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall reach the intended purpose and meet the following requirements: a) the enclosure has a stable and durable protective effect, and can withstand the stress that may be generated during normal use, transportation and storage; b) when installed outside the well, it shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.2.6.5.1; c) the electrical and mechanical parts and components are easy to install, disassemble, maintain and operate.   4.4 Electrical equipment and its connection 4.4.1 Electromagnetic compatibility The electromagnetic compatibility of automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall meet the requirements of GB/T 24807 and GB/T 24808. 4.4.2 Protection against electric shock 4.4.2.1 General The protection measures shall meet the requirements of GB/T 16895.21-2011. A warning sign with graphic symbol 5036 as specified in GB/T 5465.2-2008 shall be arranged on the enclosure of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, which shall be clearly visible on the door or cover of the enclosure. 4.4.2.2 Basic protection (protection against direct contact) In addition to the requirements of 4.4.2.1, the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.1.2.2 shall also be met. 4.4.2.3 Residual voltage protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5226.1-2019, 6.2.4. 4.4.2.4 Additional protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.1.2.3. 4.4.3 Insulation resistance It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.1.3. 4.4.4 Withstand voltage requirements For the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, a voltage of two times the maximum circuit voltage is applied between the power input circuit and the ground as well as between the power output circuit and the ground, and then 1,000V 50Hz sinusoidal alternating current is applied additionally for 1min, there shall be no breakdown or flashover, and the leakage current shall be less than 30mA.   4.4.5 Contactor, contactor relay and safety circuit elements They shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.3. 4.4.6 Protection of electrical equipment 4.4.6.1 General With the electrical equipment protection in 4.4.6.2 and 4.4.6.3, the automatic rescue operation shall be stopped and the normal power supply circuit of the lift shall be restored. 4.4.6.2 Overcurrent protection of automatic rescue operation device When the output current of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts exceeds the specified working current, the automatic rescue operation shall be stopped and the normal power supply circuit of the lift shall be restored. 4.4.6.3 Abnormal temperature protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5226.1-2019, 7.4. 4.4.7 Cut-off switch of automatic rescue power supply The automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall be equipped with a non-automatic reset switch to cut off the output of the automatic rescue power supply, which shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5226.1-2019, 5.3.2 and 5.3.3. 4.4.8 Electrical wiring It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.6. 4.4.9 Earthing protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 16895.21-2011, 411.3.1.1. 4.4.10 Vibration and impact The printed-circuit board of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall be verified according to the method of GB/T 7588.2-2020, 5.6.3.1. 4.4.11 Designation It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.10. 4.5 Protection against electrical failure Any one of failures in the electrical equipment of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, if it cannot be excluded under conditions described in GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.11.1.3 and GB/T 7588.2-2020, 5.15, shall not on its own be the cause of a dangerous failure of the lift: a) absence of voltage; b) voltage drop; c) loss of continuity of a conductor; d) insulation damage to ground or metal components; e) short circuit or open circuit, change of parameter or function of electrical elements such as resistor, capacitor, transistor, lamp; f) non-attraction or incomplete attraction of the moving armature of a contactor or relay; g) non-separation of the moving armature of a contactor or relay; h) non-opening of a contact; i) non-closing of a contact; j) phase dislocation. 4.6 Operation of automatic rescue operation device for lifts 4.6.1 General The automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall be equipped with a device for automatically isolating the power supply of lift, which shall be able to cut off the power supply of lift when the automatic rescue operation device is acting. In case of any of the failures in 4.5 c), e), f), g), h) or i) in such device, the lift shall be prevented from automatic rescue operation and failure signals shall be provided. When the automatic rescue operation device for lifts is acting, if the power supply of lift is restored, the device shall not affect the safe operation of the lift. During the automatic rescue operation, the lift shall be prevented from leveling, re-leveling and preliminary operation when the door is opened. A warning sign with graphic symbol 5036 as specified in GB/T 5465.2-2008 shall be arranged on the enclosure of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, which shall be clearly visible on the door or cover of the enclosure. 4.4.2.2 Basic protection (protection against direct contact) In addition to the requirements of 4.4.2.1, the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.1.2.2 shall also be met. 4.4.2.3 Residual voltage protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5226.1-2019, 6.2.4. 4.4.2.4 Additional protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.1.2.3. 4.4.3 Insulation resistance It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.1.3. 4.4.4 Withstand voltage requirements For the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, a voltage of two times the maximum circuit voltage is applied between the power input circuit and the ground as well as between the power output circuit and the ground, and then 1,000V 50Hz sinusoidal alternating current is applied additionally for 1min, there shall be no breakdown or flashover, and the leakage current shall be less than 30mA.   4.4.5 Contactor, contactor relay and safety circuit elements They shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.3. 4.4.6 Protection of electrical equipment 4.4.6.1 General With the electrical equipment protection in 4.4.6.2 and 4.4.6.3, the automatic rescue operation shall be stopped and the normal power supply circuit of the lift shall be restored. 4.4.6.2 Overcurrent protection of automatic rescue operation device When the output current of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts exceeds the specified working current, the automatic rescue operation shall be stopped and the normal power supply circuit of the lift shall be restored. 4.4.6.3 Abnormal temperature protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5226.1-2019, 7.4. 4.4.7 Cut-off switch of automatic rescue power supply The automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall be equipped with a non-automatic reset switch to cut off the output of the automatic rescue power supply, which shall meet the requirements of GB/T 5226.1-2019, 5.3.2 and 5.3.3. 4.4.8 Electrical wiring It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.6. 4.4.9 Earthing protection It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 16895.21-2011, 411.3.1.1. 4.4.10 Vibration and impact The printed-circuit board of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall be verified according to the method of GB/T 7588.2-2020, 5.6.3.1. 4.4.11 Designation It shall meet the requirements of GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.10.10. 4.5 Protection against electrical failure Any one of failures in the electrical equipment of the automatic rescue operation device for lifts, if it cannot be excluded under conditions described in GB/T 7588.1-2020, 5.11.1.3 and GB/T 7588.2-2020, 5.15, shall not on its own be the cause of a dangerous failure of the lift: a) absence of voltage; b) voltage drop; c) loss of continuity of a conductor; d) insulation damage to ground or metal components; e) short circuit or open circuit, change of parameter or function of electrical elements such as resistor, capacitor, transistor, lamp; f) non-attraction or incomplete attraction of the moving armature of a contactor or relay; g) non-separation of the moving armature of a contactor or relay; h) non-opening of a contact; i) non-closing of a contact; j) phase dislocation. 4.6 Operation of automatic rescue operation device for lifts 4.6.1 General The automatic rescue operation device for lifts shall be equipped with a device for automatically isolating the power supply of lift, which shall be able to cut off the power supply of lift when the automatic rescue operation device is acting. In case of any of the failures in 4.5 c), e), f), g), h) or i) in such device, the lift shall be prevented from automatic rescue operation and failure signals shall be provided. When the automatic rescue operation device for lifts is acting, if the power supply of lift is restored, the device shall not affect the safe operation of the lift. During the automatic rescue operation, the lift shall be prevented from leveling, re-leveling and preliminary operation when the door is opened.
