1 Scope This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, markings and instructions for use, warnings, etc. for child protection products at home. This document is applicable to protection products used for children aged from 0 to 48 months at home, including: ——Anti-drop articles, including anti-fall helmets, anti-fall pillows, and mats for children. ——Anti-collision articles, including anti-collision strips (angles), anti-collision wraps, and anti-collision covers for door handles. ——Anti-opening articles for children, including safety locks for cupboard (including safety locks for cupboard, cabinet, drawer, refrigerator, etc.), safety locks for door and window, door handle stoppers, and protective covers for door rotating switch. ——Protective articles for socket-outlet, including protective covers for socket hole, and protective covers for socket-outlet. ——Anti-jamming door stoppers. This document is not applicable to protection products at home that are not specifically intended for use by children, such as door holders, door stoppers, and safety locks (crescent locks) for sliding window.
