GB/T 601 Chemical reagent - Preparations of reference titration solutions GB/T 603 Chemical reagent - Preparations of reagent solutions for use in test methods GB/T 6682 Water for analytical laboratory use - Specification and test methods GB/T 9725 Chemical reagent - General rule for potentiometric titration 3 Terms and definitions No terms and definitions are defined in this document. 4 Principle 4.1 Determination principle of sodium hydroxide content Barium chloride is first added to the specimen solution to convert sodium carbonate into barium carbonate precipitate, and then the solution is titrated with hydrochloric acid standard volumetric solution. The end point is indicated either by using phenolphthalein as indicator solution, or by potentiometric titration based on the electrode potential mutation.
