GB 5768.3 Road traffic signs and markings - Part 3: Road traffic markings GB/T 12534 Motor vehicles - General rules of road test method GB 34660 Road vehicles - Requirements and test methods of electromagnetic compatibility GB/T 44373-2024 Intelligent and connected vehicle - Terms and definitions GB/T 44461.1-2024 Intelligent and connected vehicle - Technical requirements and testing methods for combined driver assistance system - Part 1: Single-lane manoeuvre 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 44373-2024, GB/T 44461.1-2024 and the following apply. 3.1 multi-lane manoeuvre system combined driver assistance system that assists drivers in performing lane change procedure between lanes in the same direction of travel by continuously controlling the lateral and longitudinal movements of the vehicle according to the surrounding driving environment of the vehicle only after the driver has triggered the lane change procedure 3.2 target lane boundary line common lane boundary line between the original lane and the target lane 3.3 original lane lane where the vehicle exists prior to entering the lane change manoeuvre phase 3.4 target lane other lane in the same driving direction in which the vehicle intends to enter 3.5 lane change procedure process from the time the driver triggers the lane change and the turn signal light is turned on for the first time to the time when the vehicle completes the lane change and the turn signal light automatically turns off or the system sends out a lane change completion prompt signal 3.5.1 lane change preparation phase phase from the time the lane change procedure is triggered to the time the outside of the front wheel of the vehicle closest to the target lane contacts the target lane boundary line on the original lane side 3.5.2 lane change manoeuvre phase phase from the time the vehicle completes the lane change preparation phase to the time the rear wheel completely crosses the target lane boundary line 3.5.3 lane change completion phase phase from the time the vehicle completes the lane change manoeuvre phase to the time the turn signal light automatically turns off or the system sends out a lane change completion prompt signal 3.6 lane change wait behavior of the system interrupting the lane change procedure in the original lane when it cannot enter the lane change manoeuvre phase due to lane boundary line, safe space and other reasons during the lane change preparation phase of the vehicle until the outside traffic environment meets the lane change conditions of the system 3.7 rear distance of vehicle and approaching vehicle real-time distance between the rearmost end of the vehicle and the foremost end of the approaching vehicle in the target lane along the direction of lane extension Note: See Figure 1. Figure 1 Schematic diagram for rear distance of vehicle and approaching vehicle 3.8 minimum speed of multi-lane manoeuvre vsmin-ML minimum vehicle speed at which the system can trigger the lane change procedure 3.9 vehicle under test; VUT vehicle under test equipped with a multi-lane manoeuvre system as defined in this document 4 General requirements 4.1 Functional requirements 4.1.1 The system shall meet the following requirements: a) If the system can assist the driver to execute the lane change procedure including the lane change preparation phase, the lane change manoeuvre phase and the lane change completion phase in the road designed to prohibit pedestrians and bicycles from passing with no less than two lanes in the vehicle traveling direction and with physical isolation between opposite lanes, it has at least the ability to detect motor vehicles of Categories M, N and L and to respond, and does not enter the lane change manoeuvre phase where the lane boundary line a solid line; b) For motor vehicles of Category M1, if the system can assist the driver to execute the lane change procedure including the lane change preparation phase, the lane change manoeuvre phase and the lane change completion phase under the road conditions other than those specified in a) with no less than two lanes in the vehicle traveling direction, it has the ability to detect motor vehicles, pedestrians and non-motor vehicles and to respond, and does not enter the lane change manoeuvre phase where the lane boundary line a solid line. 4.1.2 The system shall ensure that a suitable safe space is maintained with forward and rearward vehicles in the target lane during the lane change manoeuvre phase. 4.1.3 With the exception that the safety response strategy is adopted to avoid special circumstances such as collision risk, the lateral movement of the system shall be kept continuous during the lane change preparation phase and lane change manoeuvre phase. 4.1.4 Test according to 6.6 and 6.7, and the system shall only be able to trigger the lane change procedure when the single-lane manoeuvre is activated; after the lane change procedure is completed, the vehicle shall automatically resume single-lane manoeuvre. 4.1.5 Test according to 6.8, and the system shall only be able to trigger the lane change procedure when the hands-off prompt signal is not sent out; after the lane change procedure is completed, the vehicle shall automatically resume single-lane manoeuvre. 4.1.6 The system shall not change two or more lanes consecutively during the lane change procedure. 4.1.7 When the vehicle speed is less than vsmin-ML as declared by the vehicle manufacturer, the system shall not trigger the lane change procedure.
