This document specifies the biobased content and traceability labeling requirements for biobased materials and products.
It applies to various types of biobased materials and products derived therefrom.

3 Terms and Definitions
Terms and definitions defined in GB/T 39514 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Biobased Content
The proportion of biobased carbon in the total organic carbon of a sample.
Note: Expressed as a percentage of the ratio of radioactive activity of organic carbon in the sample to that of modern carbon reference material.
4 Traceability Labeling
4.1 Textual Labeling
Shall include:
a) Material type
b) Product standard number
c) Product name
d) Measured biobased content value
4.2 Graphical Labeling
As specified in Figure 1.
4.3 Label Specifications
Scaling shall maintain proportional dimensions relative to product size.
4.4 Application Conditions
Mandatory for products explicitly claiming biobased content.
