1 Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, alarm information requirements, and fault classification requirements for urban rail transit vehicles, and describes validation methods.
This document is applicable to the composition of alarm information and the classification of faults for urban rail transit vehicles; vehicles of other systems may refer to it.
Note: Urban rail transit vehicles mentioned in this document include metro system vehicles, light rail system vehicles, and urban rapid rail system vehicles.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions given in GB/T 7928, GB/T 32852.3, and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Fault
A state in which a system or equipment is unable to perform its required function.
Note: Excluding preventive maintenance or other planned activities, or lack of external resources.

5 General Requirements
5.1 Alarm information for urban rail transit vehicles (referred to as alarm information) shall be clear, complete, and accurate in meaning.
5.2 The content of alarm information shall adopt a unified format and shall support multi-dimensional statistical analysis.
5.3 Alarm information shall reflect different levels of urgency and be distinguished by different alarm levels.
5.4 The classification of faults in urban rail transit vehicles (referred to as faults) shall be determined based on the impact degree on operational safety and service when the vehicle itself is unable to perform its required function.
Note: Excluding faults in on-board signaling system equipment.
5.5 Alarm information shall be sourced from at least TCMS, electrical control systems, traction systems, auxiliary power supply systems, braking systems, air conditioning systems, door systems, fire alarm systems, running gear monitoring and diagnosis systems, train broadcasting, and passenger information systems.
6 Alarm Information Requirements
6.1 Alarm Information Content
6.1.1 Alarm information shall include the following:
a) Alarm description;
b) Alarm code;
c) Alarm level;
d) Train location;
e) Equipment name;
f) Time (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS);
g) Alarm details.
6.1.2 The alarm description is a brief explanation of the alarm information and shall have a unique alarm code.
6.1.3 The alarm code shall meet the following requirements:
a) The alarm code consists of the vehicle number, system number, and code, as shown in Figure 1;
b) Vehicle numbers start from 1 and are numbered sequentially using natural numbers;
c) The system number shall comply with the requirements in Table 1; for systems not defined in Table 1, reserved system numbers shall be used for self-definition;
d) The code consists of 3 digits or letters, where the first digit takes 1, 2, 3, or 4, representing Level 1 alarm, Level 2 alarm, Level 3 alarm, and Level 4 alarm, respectively.
