1 Scope
This document specifies the installation accessories and requirements, installation operations, inspection during installation, and handover for the installation of vehicle-mounted independent air conditioners (hereinafter referred to as "air conditioners") within the air conditioning demand usage space.
This document applies to the following situations; the installation of air conditioners for recreational vehicles may be referred to:
— Installation of air conditioners on commercial vehicles before leaving the factory;
— Installation of air conditioners on commercial vehicles after leaving the factory in accordance with this document and the design specifications and requirements of the vehicle manufacturer.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions given in GB/T 17790, GB/T 22766.3, and GB/T 35753, as well as the following, apply to this document.
3.1 Vehicle-Mounted Independent Air Conditioner
A device consisting of a compressor, condenser, evaporator, throttling element, fan, necessary auxiliary equipment, and control components, housed in a separate casing, independently installed on a vehicle, powered by the vehicle's own power source, and capable of providing treated air to the interior space when the vehicle's main power system is not operating.
3.2 Air Conditioner Installation
The process by which professional installers, in accordance with the design specifications and requirements of the air conditioner and vehicle manufacturers, secure, assemble, connect, and commission a vehicle-mounted independent air conditioner to achieve its intended function and integrity.
3.3 Installation Surface
The load-bearing surface that supports or secures the air conditioner.
Example: Side or top surface of the vehicle.
4 Requirements for Air Conditioner and Installation Accessories
4.1 General Requirements
Accessories used for air conditioner installation shall comply with the requirements of the installation instructions, and the accessory list shall be complete and undamaged. The air conditioner to be installed shall have an installation structure and a functional wiring diagram suitable for its intended use and type, and shall be accompanied by at least the manufacturer's product qualification certificate and warranty card.
4.2 Pipes Connecting the Outdoor Unit and Indoor Unit
4.2.1 The connecting pipes shall comply with the provisions of clauses 6.8 and 6.9 of GB/T 20025.2-2005 and shall have good thermal insulation.
4.2.2 The connecting pipes shall use sealed connections or other equivalent connection methods, such as O-ring fittings. The connection components shall not have quality issues such as cracks or grooves.
4.2.3 Preference shall be given to using connecting pipes and fittings provided with the air conditioner upon delivery. Accessories not provided upon delivery shall meet the requirements of the air conditioner manufacturer.
4.3 Electrical Wiring
The connection of the air conditioner's power cord, inter-unit signal lines between indoor and outdoor units, and electrical control lines shall comply with the relevant requirements of GB/T 4706.32. 4.4 Outdoor Unit Mounting Brackets and Fasteners
4.4.1 Outdoor Unit Mounting Brackets
The mounting brackets and fasteners for the outdoor unit of the air conditioner shall comply with GB/T 35753.
4.4.2 Fasteners
Bolts used for load-bearing or shear-resistant fixation or connection shall comply with the requirements of the installation instructions.
5 Air Conditioner Installation Requirements
5.1 General Requirements
5.1.1 During air conditioner installation operations, installers shall have reliable safety protection measures. When working at a height of 2 meters or more above the fall protection reference plane, safety belts (ropes) shall be worn. Safety belts (ropes) shall comply with the requirements of GB 6095 and have complete, clear markings. Safety belts (ropes) shall be anchored high and used low, prevented from swinging, shall not be knotted, and shall be protected from impact. Safety belts (ropes) longer than 3 meters shall be equipped with shock absorbers. During air conditioner installation, safety belts (ropes) shall be attached to connecting rings and shall not be knotted. Safety belts (ropes) and related accessories shall be inspected before use; those exceeding the safe service life, damaged, or with loose or detached components shall not be used.
5.1.2 Personnel engaged in air conditioner installation work shall undergo specialized training and obtain relevant qualifications before starting work.
5.1.3 Air conditioner installation shall comply with the design specifications and requirements of the vehicle manufacturer and the air conditioner manufacturer and shall not compromise the safety structure of the vehicle.
5.1.4 The installation surface for the air conditioner shall be sturdy and robust, with sufficient load-bearing strength. Its load-bearing capacity shall not be less than 4 times the actual weight of the air conditioner it carries, and ventilation space and noise after installation shall be considered.
5.2 Noise and Vibration
The installed air conditioner shall not produce significant abnormal noise or vibration during vehicle travel and operation.

1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions given in GB/T 17790, GB/T 22766.3, and GB/T 35753, as well as the following, apply to this document.
3.1 Vehicle-Mounted Independent Air Conditioner
