本部分给出了橡皮绝缘电缆电焊机电缆的技术要求。本部分等同采用ＩＥＣ６０２４５-６：１９９４《额定电压４５０／７５０Ｖ及以下橡皮绝缘电缆　第６部分：电焊机电缆》（英文版）及其修改单Ａｍｅｎｄｍｅｎｔ１：１９９７，Ａｍｅｎｄｍｅｎｔ２：２００３（英文版）。本部分与ＧＢ５０１３．６—１９９７相比主要变化如下：
———绝缘材料用“ＩＥ４”代替“ＩＥ１”；
———表１中减小了平均外径下限和上限数值，并增加脚注２“覆盖层厚度测量应按ＧＢ／Ｔ５０１３．１—２００８中５．５．３的规定”；
———表２中３．３“氧弹老化后拉力试验”替换成“空气弹老化后拉力试验”，并增加３．５“耐臭氧试验”。
